[Ansteorra] Tournament of Champions - Extended Invitations

Greetings unto the stellar populace of Ansteorra,

In the spirit of having a more challenging tournament the Crown feels that
the Tournament of Champions should be open to more combatants.  It is
therefor the Crown's pleasure to invite all baronial, shire, canton and
province's baronial heavy/chivalric champions that have held the title of
champion from January 1, 2015 to December 1, 2015 to be entrants into the
Tournament of Champions regardless as to if they received a "golden ticket"
or not.  In our opinion the mere title "Tournament of Champions" for this
tournament should be upheld by allowing these title holders entrance.  Each
champion who chooses to accept this invitation from the Crown must produce
written evidence from their group's Seneschal or Landed noble that they
indeed did hold the title of champion in writing to the Crown prior to
entrance into the Tournament of Champions.

The Crown also clarifies that if you are unfortunate in keeping track of
your physical "golden ticket" a physical replacement will not be given
you.  You will still be allowed entrance into the Tournament of Champions
as long as you can produce evidence that you received one.

Furthermore, the Crown has reviewed the rules for the Tournament of
Champions and determined that the Viking Tournament at Steppes Artisan is
within the posted rules.  Therefor, this tournament has received approval
from the Crown and will be a "golden ticket" tournament.

Lastly, it has been brought to our attention that timely responses have not
been given in regards to requests for the "golden ticket" approvals.  In
order to assist with this issue going forward any individual requesting
this should copy crown at ansteorra.org.  The Crown will then make a decision
upon the validity of the tournament to receive a "golden ticket" if the TOC
staff does not respond in a timely manner.  Any request that has not
received a response to an inquiry in which the event has not yet occurred
we ask that you immediately forward your request to crown at ansteorra.org so
that the Crown may resolve any outstanding requests.
