I am not sure what the VAL Blunt is, but when we were working on anti bounce / APD I tested a low rebound rubber on UHMW and found that it hit like a brick no real give, this was a 1 inch ball cut in half to give 1.2" of compressible depth.

Hello everyone from your local friendly Chivalric Experimental Rules Deputy ...
There are a few open and ongoing experiments in Ansteorra and it is time again for feedback on them.
1. Knee Walking 2. Single layer thrusting tips on one handed weapons3. VAL Blunts - 1/2 Rubber Ball (32mm) on UHMW core for Combat Archery - Static testing only at the moment, no live melee testing yet.
Anyone with thoughts, concerns, or data on these please forward it to me and/or the KEM.
If there are any other experiments you would like to try please write them up and submit them to me and the KEM.
