[Ansteorra] Event Bids Due Date Changes

Greetings Ansteorra,

As was announced at Round Table, Their Majesties and the Seneschal's Office
have decided to implement new due dates for kingdom event bids.  The goal
is to get event sites that are best suited to meet our needs while dealing
with the growing competition from other activities seeking to use these
same sites.

The result is that most event bids will be due 1 year prior to the event
taking place.  Of course, this is not feasible for all events since we are
more than halfway through the year already and a "phase-in" process will be
used in those cases.

Bid due dates are listed below.

Winter Crown Tournament (January):

2016 = Aug 31, 2015

2017 + = Dec 31 (Jan 2017 Crown bid is due Dec 31, 2015)



Kingdom A&S (February):

2016 = Aug 31, 2015

2017 + = Jan 31 (Feb 2017 A&S bid is due Jan 31, 2016)



Spring Coronation (April):

2016 + = Jan 31 (April 2016 Coronation bid is due Jan 31, 2016)



Spring Queen's Champion (May):

2016 + = Jan 31 (May 2016 QC bid is due Jan 31, 2016)



King's College (June):

2016 = Nov 30, 2015

2017 + = Jan 31 (June 2016 A&S bid is due May 31, 2016)



Heraldic and Scribal Symposium (not set):

Due by Jan 31 for that year (2016 AHSS bids are due by January 31, 2016)



Spring Royal Huntsman (Not set):

2016 + = February 28



Spring Royal Lancer (Not set):

2016 + = February 28



Summer Crown Tournament (July):

2016 = Dec 31, 2015

2017 + = June 30 (July 2017 Crown bid is due June 30, 2016)



Laurel's Prize Tournament (September):

2016 = Feb 28, 2016

2017 + = Aug 31 (Sept 2017 LPT bid is due Aug 31, 2016)



Fall Coronation (October):

2015 + = July 31 (October 2015 Coronation bid is due July 31, 2015)



Fall Queen's Champion (November):

2015 + = July 31 (November 2015 QC bid is due July 31, 2015)



Fall Royal Huntsman (Not set):

2015 + = Aug 31



Fall Royal Lancer (Not set):

2015 + = Aug 31



Eisteddfod (not set):

2015 + = Aug 31



Kingdom Middle Eastern Dance Champion (not set):

2015 + = Aug 31



All other events (Academies, Colleges, Symposia, etc.) will have bids due
by December 31 of the year preceding when they are to take place.  That
means that if you want to host Academy of the Rapier in 2017, we need bids by
December 31, 2016.  If you wish to hold these events in the early part of
the year, bids are due at least 4 months prior to the start date of the
proposed event.
