Queen's Champion
for Her future Majesty, Toryn Sevenstitches
November 13-15, 2015

The Barony of Bryn Gwlad is proud to host the tournament that shall
determine the Champion for Her Stellar Majesty Toryn Sevenstitches. This
glorious event will be on November 11-13, 2015 at the Castleton site. Also
chosen this weekend will be the Queen's Hope on Saturday and the Queen's
Cut and Thrust Champion on Sunday. An Arts and Science competition will be
hosted on Saturday with both a populace and a Queen's choice chosen. All
A&S entries will be donated to HRM as largess.

The Castleton site has ample camping space with on site showers and plenty
of shade trees and a beautiful view of a private lake. Included in the site
fee will be Travelers Fare dinner of soup and bread available on Friday
evening and a continental breakfast available Saturday morning. The Queens
Table Tavern will be open for lunch and dinner on Saturday – rates
displayed at the Tavern. The local meeting tavern will be open on Saturday
night only and will be on a donation only basis. Site will open Friday at
5pm and will close on Sunday at 1pm.

Site Fee: $15 for adults, $5 for children, Children 5 and under are free
Family Max $40 and $5 NMS where applicable

Service animals only. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal
guardian.
Minors may also attend with a 21 year or older adult with a signed and
notarized Minor Event Waiver Form from the parents/guardian.

Castleton is located at 7400 Coldwater Canyon Dr., Austin, TX, 78730.
In Austin, TX. From RM 360 (also called Capital of Texas Hwy) and RM 2222
(also called Bull Creek Road). Go West on RM 2222 0.4 miles and turn left
at the first light, City Park Rd. Go 0.9 miles and turn left on Bridgepoint
Pkwy. Go 0.1 miles until it ends and turn right on Coldwater Canyon. Go 0.3
miles, past the gate to the cul-de-sac. At the end of the cul-de-sac
continue onto a dirt road. Follow the dirt road and down the hill. It’s a
steep hill. Drive slowly; shift into low gear. The site is at the bottom of
the hill. Watch for guides at the top and bottom of the hill and please
comply with their instructions.

*Letters of intent are REQUIRED and must be received the Saturday before
Queens (November 7). Formal letters may be delivered by hand at Queens,
however, an electronic notification will still be required by November 7th.
Letters of intent are required for both Queen's Champion and Kingdom Cut
and Thrust tourneys.*

Queen's Champion Format:
Swiss 5, followed by top 16 moving on to single elimination, best 2 of 3.
For the Swiss 5, no called rounds, fighters do not have to match styles,
but must go through all styles during the 5 rounds. Single, Rapier and
Dagger, Case of Rapiers, Rapier and Flexible Parry Device, Rapier and
Ridgid Parry Device.

Kingdom Cut and Thrust Format:

7pm - Queen's Tavern open for business
8pm - Tavern opens
