Insignia Derby being hosted at Crown Tournament on July 9th, 2016. Please

Greetings Ansteorra! It's time for an Ansteorran Insignia Derby!

Derby Coordinators: Lady Elena Wyth (insignia at herald.ansteorra.org) and
Lady Yrsa Haraldsdottir (Hospitaler at bjornsborg.ansteorra.org)

We would like to challenge the amazing artisans of Ansteorra to an Insignia
Derby!

This contest will be hosted at Summer Crown Tournament, July 9th, 2016. We
are asking those who would like to participate to bring 12 completed
insignia. All entries will be donated to the Crown after the Derby.

*Rules for Entry:*

All entrants must create 12 insignia based on the heraldic rules suitable
for the insignia being created. (Example: 12 Sable Thistles need to have
the correct thistle (not the Scottish thistle), 12 Iris of Merits need to
include the correct heraldic rainbow of colors, etc.)

All entries must be tagged (what is it made of and who made it) and ready
to be used the day of the competition.

The items do not need to be documentable - this is not an Arts and Sciences
competition! You are welcome to use period or modern materials and
techniques.

*Rewards!*

The winner of the Insignia Derby, selected by Their Majesties, will receive
a fabulous prize from the College of Scribes! If you have any questions
