Did you know that there are some beers that only take 4 weeks to brew?

BREWERS: You still have time to bring something tasty for the Gold'N
Gryphon Tavern!

With all the activities and entertainers going on for the entirety of SCA
50 Year, we are hoping for over 100 gallons of donations.

All information about the tavern including donation guidelines have been
updated at

http://www.sca50year.org/special.html

Or email the tavern mistress at verena at broomstich.com.

Whether a 6 pack, a single gallon or a keg (we will have a forced
carbonation and tap system set up), please think about donating to the
tavern, and sharing your best!

Artisans Village brings to you some of the very best of the many skills and
crafts that make what we do in the Society a richer and more medieval
experience. It brings together great research, scholarly endeavor and the
fun of making it yourself.

Artisans from all over the Knowne World are welcome to visit and bring
their passionate love for what they do to the many pavilions that will be
found during the 50 Year Celebration. Come try something new, or see how
something was done in the distant past. Leather working, glass making,
pottery, the essential arts of Laundry and Dyeing, Brewing and Vintning
that made the table more pleasant, Cooking in all of its myriad delights,
Woodworking that touched all aspects of daily life, Iron Smelting that gave
us a whole new world of endeavor.

Don't miss the Great Machine which made it easier and faster to provide
wood products for the larger demand of a growing population.

Pavilions will be open for the duration of the Celebration. Bring your
looms, beads, whatever your specialty is and join others who share your
enthusiasm. Come to learn, come to share what you know, find new things to
catch at your creativity. Artisans make the Society beautiful and all
artisans are part of that. The Village is there to be explored, used,
visited and shared. Be part of the excitement!

Do you have a passion for one of the Domestic Arts? Or maybe you've just
begun but want to share what you've learned? On Monday 6/20 you are invited
to set up a Domestic Arts Display showcasing your work!

Domestic arts include Animal Accouterments, Animal Husbandry, Brewing and
Vintning, Cooking/Food/Drink, Herbcraft& Apothecary, Soap making,
Candlemaking, Makeup, Perfumes, Hair, Nails, and Skin products (that are
legal and safe), etc.

Artisans: Sign up for Domestic Arts Day at:
http://www.sca50year.org/arts.html

The populace is invited to come and view the displays and if they feel the
display is worthy, please leave a token for your favorite artisan.

Now that you've pre-registered for SCA 50 Year, it's time to answer two
important questions:

1. Which merchants are coming?
2. What are the on-site food options?

The answers are here!
http://www.sca50year.org/merchant.html

There are still some menu items being settled by the food vendors, but for
the most part, we think you'll be pleased with the wide-ranging and
affordable selection of local businesses and SCA favorites.
