Greetings Ansteorra! We are now less than two weeks away from the
Ansteorran Insignia Derby held at Winter Crown Tournament!

I'm super excited to see what everyone will be entering! Please remember to
tag your insignia, so the Crown and the future recipient know who to thank!

If you will not be able to attend Crown Tournament, but have an entry AND
will be attending Steppes 12th Night, I'd be happy to collect your entry
there.

We would like to challenge the amazing artisans of Ansteorra to an Insignia
Derby!

This contest will be hosted at Winter Crown Tournament, January 14th, 2017.
We are asking those who would like to participate to bring 12 completed
insignia. We are especially interested in medallion and garter insignia
entries. All entries will be donated to the Crown after the Derby.

Rules for Entry:

All entrants must create 12 insignia based on the heraldic rules suitable
for the insignia being created. (Example: 12 Sable Thistles need to have
the correct thistle (not the Scottish thistle), 12 Iris of Merits need to
include the correct heraldic rainbow of colors, etc.)

All entries must be tagged (what is it made of and who made it) and ready
to be used the day of the competition.

The items do not need to be documentable - this is not an Arts and Sciences
competition! You are welcome to use period or modern materials and
techniques.

Rewards!
The winner of the Insignia Derby, selected by Their Majesties, will receive
a fabulous prize from the College of Scribes!
