[Ansteorra] Rights in court

Fads come and go, but I've recently witnessed particular egregious behavior at multiple events so I am speaking to defend a right most do not have but many are assuming and abusing.  I am taking this time and place to speak because I did not have the right during the misconduct.

The right I speak of is reserved by Law to the Lions of Ansteorra : to enter court unbidden.

On the surface this seems like a simple statement, but what does it mean and how are people eroding this exclusive right.

Once court has started you must be called into court and be granted the privilege to speak by the Crown or their designated representative. We see this at almost every court when they call in key officers or deputies to speak on aspects of the event, we see it when they call individuals to speak of upcoming events or challenges, and we especially see it during peerage ceremonies when they ask if there is a member of each Order to speak for a candidate.

The injustice I speak of individuals that explicitly force themselves into court, even from the sidelines, and start making announcements or proclamations when the Crown has not granted permission. It is those individuals that choose to chime in and expound on someone in detail without the Crown seeking it. It is those individuals who feel the need to brag about a project that was just acknowledged by the Crown. It is those individuals that interrupt the herald closing court to make an announcement without being asked if there was further business. 

This is not the chatter of individuals talking to each other quietly, despite how the noise builds. This is not being enthusiastic for someone with your group specific cheer. This is not even yelling "Death to Trimaris".

Please recognize the powers of the Crown, Ansteorra's laws, and the rights of the Lions by not interrupting court.
