I don't really have an opinion. It might be nice to have shade but it
doesn't really sound like they have a lot of room. Before you carry it all
the way down there you might want to contact the autocrat and ask if there
will be space for pavilions and if we will have permission to drive stakes
into the ground at the event center. They often have sprinklers in those
environs and don't like people's attempts at creating water amusements for
themselves...

Here is your schedule for Crown Tournament, all times are subject to change
at behest of the Crown and events beyond control.

9:00 - Site opens and list check-in begins.
9:30 -  Armor inspection begins
10:00 - Opening court
10:30 - Procession begins, with oath and tourney to follow.
30 minutes after final round: Chivalry circle
6 PM or 30 minutes after Chivalry circle, whichever is later: Evening Court
10 pm site closes

A few clarifications on things about the site for crown.

We have permission to fight outside on the grassy areas in front of the
building. In the event of a large list the early rounds may be fought on
multiple fields outside.

Outside food and drink are allowed for individuals, so if you want to bring
your lunch it is fine. We are prohibited from feeding large groups , hence
no sideboard or feast.

No vending machines are on site but there are several restaurants nearby. I
have a list of caterers approved to work the concession on site and will
look into seeing if one will work for us.
