[Ansteorra] Bids for Queen's Champion - May 11, 2019

[Events Deputy]

 Bids for the Queen's Champion event for Princess Margaret, to be held on May
11, 2019 are still being accepted! I have received one bid from Countess
Toryn, and the Barony of Wiesenfeuer and the Shire of Brad Leah have shown
interest.

Bids will be due to the Kingdom Events Deputy by midnight on Friday, February
15, 2019. Their Highnesses and the Financial Committee will make a decision
on or before Friday, February 22, 2019.

While all bids for this event will certainly be accepted and considered, Their
Highnesses would prefer an outdoor, single day event to be held on May 11.
They would also prefer a feast be served for a small number of people, as
well as have space for some entertainment. Of course, knowing the fickle
weather of Ansteorra in May, it would behoove potential event stewards to
have an indoor backup plan.

Remember that all bids for all events must include a completed
'Ansteorra Kingdom
Event Bid Form' and a detailed budget. However, a visually appealing bid
with more details and pictures is wonderful. I would be happy to help with
templates or more suggestions if necessary.
