[Ansteorra] New Deputy Kingdom Seneschal for Kingdom Events

[Events Deputy]

At Round Table this past weekend, Master Ainar announced a new Deputy
Kingdom Seneschal position - a Kingdom Event Deputy! He has agreed to place
me, Duchess Gilyan Clonmacnoise, OP into the position. The responsibilities
of this deputy will be to manage the bid process for kingdom events. The
Kingdom Event Deputy will manage the administrivia of kingdom level events.
This officer will track the dates of kingdom events, as set forth in
kingdom law, and announce requests for bids in a timely manner, making sure
all members of the populace know exact due dates for event bids. This
officer will also make announcements regarding which groups have submitted
bids for which kingdom level events, to make the process as transparent as
possible. If you are submitting a bid for a kingdom event, you now only
have to send it to one email address - events at seneschal.ansteorra.org.

The Kingdom Event Deputy would also make sure a Facebook event for each
kingdom event is created from the Kingdom of Ansteorra Facebook page, as
well as place the financial committee and event stewards as admins for the
Facebook event. Additional duties for this office could include assisting
event stewards and local seneschals with the bid writing process by making
suggestions that would make the submitted bid more attractive to the
financial committee or suggesting changes to budgets.

Obviously, this is a new position with grandiose plans. Their Highnesses,
Prince Vlad and Princess Margaret have graciously agreed to be a part of
this new process and will assist to refine it's procedures from Their side.
