[Ansteorra] A Quest at 40th Year

Ansteorra - There will be a Kingdom History Quest at 40th Year!

The goal is for participants to speak to 40 individuals about our Kingdom's
long and storied past. The first 100 people to complete the quest and turn
their quest sheet back in, will win a beautiful prize made by Elrique de
Netterville!  There is also an Additional Lore Challenge: Come to the Wiki
History Booth, and tell a story or write a poem based on something you
learned from an Era Ribbon wearer. The entry judged best will win a special
prize donated by Mistress Alisandre Oliphaunt. Judging ends on Sunday at
Noon; a winner will be decided then, and the prize given.

IMPORTANT:  If you are willing to share what you know of our Kingdom's
history, please stop by the Historian's Display or the Wiki table and pick
up an Era Ribbon:  BLUE ribbons = started SCA in the days when we were
still part of Atenveldt, or in the Principality of Ansteorra (creation up
to 1979). GOLD ribbons = started in the first 20 years of our Kingdom
(1979–1999).  BLACK ribbons = started in the most recent 20 years
(1999–now) Questors will ask any of a variety of questions or trivia about
your experiences or Ansteorran history. When you have done so, sign or
initial their quest sheet in the column appropriate to your Era.   [The
ribbons help folks find those of the various eras (they have to speak to 10
people in each era), and makes it easier on our younger participants to
know who is open to being asked questions.  They also make great silent
bragging rights...]
