[Ansteorra] Clarification on Sanctions

There are some questions about the sanction that was issued today. Please
understand, this was not done because of a single incident. This action
taken by the Crown, with the agreement of the Society Seneschal, was done
because this was the third such incident in the last two years involving
this person. This is not an action taken lightly, this was not done as some
"witch hunt". It was action taken based on several interactions involving
highly inappropriate comments and threats of physical violence.  Please do
not assume this was because of a single conversation as a catalyst.

Hateful speech and racist comments are specifically things that fall under
the SCA bullying and harrassment policy. I have been instructed by the
Society Seneschal that this will not be tolerated. The SCA is more than
just what happens at events and on "official" pages. Treating people with
hate and/or insults is not what we are. And when such things are shown to
be repeated pattern, the Society Seneschal has made it clear that such
actions have consequences...regardless of location.

Again, my apologies if there was confusion that the actions taken today
were something done because of a single person being upset because of a
single comment. This was not the case. The limitations of my office will
only allow me to discuss certain things, but as stated, please do not
assume that this happened because of a one time post.  This was repeated,
continuous statements.
