[Ansteorra Exchequer]

We've been having an absolutely STELLAR year in the Exchequery and I have a
few thanks to hand out and a few announcements.

First, if you haven't heard, Ansteorra was the fifth kingdom to submit our
domesday report.  We were well in advance of the deadline and I cannot
stress my gratitude to Jutte VonderBerg (the Domesday Deputy) and ALL of
the local exchequers who helped her get the information together for this
kingdom-wide year end report.  I've said it before and I say it again.  You
guys are amazing and I hope you know what a huge accomplishment this is.

Some members of the Exchequery have been working tirelessly and their
tenure of office is at an end.  I hope each of you know how grateful I am
to your dedication to your office and those you've supported through this
interesting time.

Aaliz du Lac has served this kingdom as NMR deputy for the past two years.
I know that it's been an adventure through Covid -- no events, ALL THE
EVENTS, back to no events, ALL THE EVENTS again and you've managed to keep
everything flowing and organized.  Thank you, Aaliz, for working so hard to
help Ansteorra shine.  Happiest of Birthdays to you!!  My birthday gift is
to announce your replacement!  Karl Thorgeirsson has been selected as the
next NMR Deputy.  I've worked with Karl for years and I'm certain that
he'll continue to do great things in this office.

Magdalena Cortez has served as Southern Regional Exchequer supporting our
local exchequers in that region, helping them totally GET IT DONE!!  From
answering questions about how to fill out the monthly report to questions
about how to run gate and even questions about what they're allowed to
spend money on.  Magdalena was there either with answers or with pointers
to who would know!  Thank you, Dena!!!  Tonight, it is my pleasure to
announce Morina O'Donovan will be stepping up as our new Southern Regional
Exchequer.  I'm thrilled at the excitement she is bringing with her into
this role and I have no doubt that she'll soon be just as invaluable as
Dena!

Lastly, we've had a Training/Book Review Deputy slot that's been open for a
while.  My vision of this position is someone who will help me continue to
review and perfect the training that the exchequery offers, not just at
Round Table, but throughout.  I expect that this role will be working with
the new Kingdom Deputy to help our training be even more accessible to
exchequers, Landeds, Royals, and anyone interested in this line of
service.  Tonight, I'm pleased to announce René Damours will be filling
this position for the Exchequery!  Rene' is a training coordinator at a
large university and brings an amazing skillset into this office.  I cannot
wait to see where we go!

Once again, I struggle to find the words to adequately express my gratitude
to those who are stepping down.  Furthermore , the hope and anticipation of
new people in the Exchequery is so very exciting!!!

I'm so happy to see us moving forward.  I cannot do this alone.  My thanks
to each and every one of you.
