[Ansteorra] Missive from Ansteorra Armored General

Our annual test of skill and arms against our worthy friend and foe, Trimaris, is nearly here. In the crucible of Gulf Wars, we find an opportunity to prove the collective might of Ansteorra - in service, arts and sciences, and martial combat.

I am honored to be Ansteorra’s General of Armored Forces. Today, I am writing about armored combat, but all of the opportunities the Society gives us are all important.

I frequently look forward to testing my honor and prowess in both melee and single combat. At the end of the day, we then have an opportunity to share those stories.

Those stories come from being bold - willing to step into the breach, flank the opposing line, blunt a charge, and encourage each other to stand strong together.
Our test of arms is not risk free, and I do not ask you to take on truly dangerous behavior. But, be bold in how you act on the field. Through bold actions do we create those stories.

More than our individual acts, we should also recognize bold and effective actions of our friends and foes. Take time to commend others to friends and The Crown. Your words will help encourage a future Centurion, Knight, Master of Arms, or even Crown.

Be bold, be honorable, and recognize the boldness of your friends and foes!
