The fighting looked clean and enjoyable once the weather cleared up a bit (light drizzle
in the early morning Saturday, but blue skies after 2pm!)  The unpadded glaives were
given a trial run (and closely watched by His Royal Majesty).  I haven't heard what the decision
was regarding these new weapons.

And speaking of His Royal Majesty... it seems some scurilous rumors were being spread
that He was hurling hand axes into the melee from the sidelines!!  I can honestly discount such rumors.
(He only threw at those in the tower!!)  [grin!]

Court took place on a brisk, clear evening.  Many hard-earned awards and honors were
bestowed, including elevating Teleri ferch Pawl to the Order of the Laurel, in a most 
moving ceremony.  (Sorry, I'm biased!)
