Other times a person plays as much as they can considering their modern life. Then just about the time they reach the 'goal' they set for themselves, the rules change and they ahve to keep working only to have it happen a one or two more itmes before they become discouraged and quit. I discovered the SCA rather late in life, couldnt become a fighter or anything like that, but I am a very good support person.
