Dear Folk I come from the time before Ansteorra and I carry a lot of the old customs with me. One is about the term Coronets. Everyone but Kings and Queens wear coronets but when we used the term we were talking about the Royal Prince and Prince. I now here the term applied to Baron/ess. When did this change? Is this right? If Baron/ess get to be Coronets shouldn't everyone who wears a coronet get to be one? Also a King or a Queen sit on a Throne. The fact the Crown sits on the chair makes it a Throne. A Duchess does not sit on a Throne and her sitting on a chair does not make it a throne. I do not believe Baronial chairs of states are Thrones and I wonder if they should be call such.
