ARCH - Arrow question

Greetings and Hi There,

You might not have heard from the announce thing, but the donation breakfast
at Raven's Fort generated $142.45 for the making of combat arrows for the
war.  If things go all right, I will have at least 6 more of these donation
breakfasts before the war which will generate; hopefully about $1100 total.

My question is this, should I  continue to make the Ansteorran War Arrows?
Or, should I start making UHMW type?  I should be able to do about  1000 -
1200 new arrows of the AWA type.  I don't know how many of the UHMW type.

While the UHMW type would last longer, it would require me to totally retool
my operation.

One thought I had was to have both types of arrows.  The Ansteorran War
Arrows for the field battles, they have greater range and only a small
number are broken.  And the UHMW type for the castle battles, their
increased survivablity in those close quarters makes them more desireable..

I would very much like everyones thoughts on this.  I won't be ordering
parts till probably October. Last time I ordered a big  order from F/S
Archery they paid the shipping which saved a lot.

So we have some time to talk about it.  Right now my first arrow making
party is scheduled for 1 - 3 Dec.  However, I may also have it at my first
scheduled shoot at Camp Finlayson30 June - 2 July.  I have plenty of arrows
that are in various stages of construction now.
