ARCH - Combat arrows at Three Kings

While at Three Kings last week end I had the chance to look over a few
arrows. What I saw was not good. Arrows with 1/4" wood shafts (they have to
be 5/16" if wood) they may be 1/4" if fiberglass. Closed cell foam that was
only 1/2" thick (is supposed to be 1"). Tips that were 1" across (they are
supposed to be 1 1/4") across the shortest side.
Also thouse of us (me to) that shoot UHMW heads need to round off the front
end of the UHMW so as to not have a "sharp" edge. I am going to try doing
that (round off the edge) with a router and 1/4" round over bit.
