Now that you mentioned it, I do remember something about it.  Didn't pay
much attention to it because archery didn't have marshals of that type.

You know, sometimes I think it's just better to go about our business and
not worry about the letter of the law but the spirit.

I believe that is correct. I seem to recall this ugly being raised while Sir
Kief was the Earl Marshal. You had to have an Inspection-level Marshal
(specific to the activity) and a Warranted Officer (doesn't matter which
one). If the officer leaves, the activity stops.
