ARCH - A Question

Folks this is the part of the whole subject we can talk about for a Loooong
time.  Some will agree and some won't.  Personally, I think it's the wrong
solution.  However, bottom line is if the BoD doesn't overturn the SEM
ruling, and I wouldn't hold my breath there, WE are stuck with it.  After a
point even I saw the writing on the wall.

Now there's lots of folks out there in this great kingdom of ours who are
all set to help us out here.  I think the only question we all need to
answer is "Am I as an archer going to continue to give fire support to my
kingdom during the war?".  That's a question we'll all have to answer for
our self.

If your answer is yes I'm going to continue to shoot combat arrows for my
kingdom; then great.  There's still lots we can do while we're waiting on
that final decision.  However, if you answer is no; and you want to sell
your stuff, let me know.  I'll see what I can do about either buying it
myself or finding someone else to.

IMHO this particular solution was designed to hurt combat archery.  It is my
desire to do all I can to keep it alive and strong in this Kingdom.  But I'm
only one dude.  And even with all the auctions in the world I can't keep it
going if our archers lose heart.  We are not alone in the dark.

At my arrow shoots, we'll be working on arrows in th evening.  We may not
know exactly what the back end will look like; but the fron part stays the
same.

   I do not dispute that there is a safety issue.  And yes, you are correct
in the tone of my E-mails.  I personally would never want to cause undo harm
to anyone.  I just believe more research could of been done, before this
very costly provision came down to the populace.  Other alternatives could
have been explored.   I just feel the most inefective resolution was
choosen.  One alternative idea is replacing the knock feather with a piece
of tubing large enough not to penatrate the faceplate of the helm. Was this
considered?  I don't know.  This would inhibit arrow flight as much as the
latter.

    I have been to many events and and more offtend someone breaks a thumb.
No changes have been made because of this, but it is far more command than a
eye injury.   Of course I would trade a busted thumb for an Eye injury any
day. That is not the point I am trying to make.

   It just the powers at large more quickly and swiftly on this subject.  No
vote, No alternative.
