Greetings and Hi There,

I found the following information in the current OP, which has been
brilliantly done by Baron Rumil (thanks for all the effort, WOW).

Now perhaps it's just me.  I can't believe that this reflects the amount of
archery activity we have or does it?  18 Thistles in 18 years, have we been
doing that little?  Or are not prone to put pen to paper to recognize folks
for their efforts?

I know writing award recommendations can be a difficult thing to do.  I
don't like to do it because I get teary eyed when I do, makes it hard to see
the keys.  But, I write them as I see them.  Now I'm not saying that because
so and so broke wind one day on the line you should put them in for an
archery award.  But if you think someone is doing good work, lets try to get
them recognized.

There aren't too many ways for us to get positive recognition as archers.
So let's take advantage of those opportunities we do have.

So take a good look at these lists.  See how many times you say, "Hey, Lord
Fussy isn't on the list.  I thought he had a thistle for (whatever it is
Lord Fussy does) already.", or words to that affect.  Or, "You know, Lady
Whatsit should have a Kings Archer." If you do, perhaps you should write
something up.

We all can recommend folks to the Crown.  We're the Crowns eyes.  So lets
open eyes and take a look around and see you needs recognition.
