I'm just a cook at heart.:)

Well, I got to looking at the website that came with the testing procedures
last night.  All the approved APDs shown are on fiberglass.  The testing
procedures requires separate testing and approval for wood and fiberglass.
So it appears that there aren't any approved APDs for wood.  I asked last
night, but I don't know if I got answer back on that or not.  I going to ask
again, very pointedly, tonight.

But if that's the case, that there are no approved APDs for wood arrows
right now, effectively wood is illegal on the heavy field till there is one.
Pretty slick, uhhh.  Don't go through the thing of getting rid of the arrow,
just require APDs and then don't have one for it.

Then again, perhaps that foam wedgey thing is approved for wood, I don't
know.

		Here's the reason I ask that.  It appears, I don't think
I'll know

		till tonight, but it appears that they've managed to make
wood
	combat arrows
		illegal.  You see 1 Aug all shaft combat arrows must have an
	approved APD.
		I'm not for sure, but I don't think there currently are any.
Pretty
	slick
		way of getting rid of wood ain't it.  Don't disapprove the
arrow,
	just don't
		have an approved APD for it.  And except for me, there
doesn't
	appear to be
		anyone seriously looking for one.

		To say I'm ready to top would be an under statement.  I'm
looking
	for my
		really big spoon.  Because later today, I'm going to stir a
really
	big pot.

		Of course the wood ones will be useable on the light field,
if the
	SEM gives
		a waiver for that.  I think the light community has already
pitched
	a -itch
		on that one.

		So....what to do, what to do???????
