Greetings and Hi There,

Yesterday at Candlemas it was glorious.  Three archers received three
different awards during court.  Lord Alfred Hudleston, Bryn Glad's archery
marshal, lead the charge by receiving a Baronial service order.  Then I
became the second to receive the Arcus Magoris so everyone can quit tip
toeing.  And Lord Talon of Blackoak became HL Talon of Blackoak by finally
getting his long overdue Star of Merit.  The archer done good.

But the most emotional moment of the night came when HL Louise was called
into court.  Behind her followed most of the Shire of Middleford.  Tears,
applause and cheering followed freely when she elevated to Court Baroness.

What a night; one I'm sure will be remembered for a very long time. 02-02-02
