Muchas Gracias, everyone!  I feel a little better that you were all well
watered.

But this is a subject that has bothered me since coming to the society...the
subject of not getting water-bearers over to the other fields and only
watching out for the "stick jocks" (hey I can say it...I fight rapier,
too!). :-)

Yes, Caelin was right. I was extremely short this last weekend. If had not
been for Crandall and a nice lady from the Tor (Janie), I would have run out
of food and ice before noon.  This was also my first time to be a
water-bearer in charge....so, yes I leanred alot.

Defender this year will be at Canton again. With ya'll's suggestions, and
the autocrats help, I'll working on improving the water-bearing situation at
Defender and (hopefully) other Elfsea events.

So, my next question...when food is brought around, what is your favorite
hot weather fruits? In other words, what would you like to see served?
(Warning -- you might see this on the Ansteorra list, too).

Sorry, it was not I but the Lady Heather, & Lord Lothaar who fetched the
ice water & jug.  Also Lady Roana who had them bring her oranges to share
with us, and very much appreciated they were!
