Yes, we have thought of that and it has been done. The question is, who is
responsible for presenting this to the heirs? This is where the real
stickler has been.

Technically, the Kingdom Seneschal is supposed to solicit bids for events
like this. (at least for the champions events that are at least mentioned in
kingdom law). In practice it just doesn't get done that way. When is the
last time you saw the Kingdom Seneschal out stumping for Kings Lancer, or
Kings College, or Kingdom Eisteddfod, etc.?

So far the Royal Huntsman has played a role in the planning of the next
tournament. I am not sure if this is good or bad. If the person who wins
the tournament has their act together and does a good job as huntsman then
it can be good. Otherwise it might be not so good. Technically the Royal
Huntsman position is not an office it is just a station that has whatever
duties the current crown decides to give them.

The Kingdom Archery Marshal, or their designated deputy could take care if.
It happened some while Fearghus was KAM (but of course Fearghus was Royal
Huntsman some while he was KAM). I would be willing to take this on as KAM
but of course right now the job is undefined. I plan on working with the
Heirs and new King and Queen to see if we can formalize something.
