[Ansteorra-archery] What are things that are keeping outCombatArchers of the field?

No- I was where I was supposed to be behind the friendly fighters.  The
fighters got flanked by runners in the first case  and there was nowhere else
to go except toward the fighters in the second due to obstructions behind me-
so I stayed as far out of the way as possible until I could get clear but
still caught a blow while they mixed it up.
