This is especially bad when touching an archer is deemed different than
touching anyone else. In a "all archers are touch kill" (I am not a white
diamond or red pheon) I was hit by an arrow on a gauntlet. The War MIC
ruled I was dead. Chivalric fighters hit in the hand were told "the hand
is not a valid target, so it does not count". So only archers were killable
by being hit in the hand by an arrow. Garghhhhh. But I did not argue. The
Marshal is always right - at least on the field.
