Greetings All,

Duke Baldar's new "Asgard APD" is now approved for use in Ansteorra.

I have received samples and they are a great deal better than the prototypes
we used. I think essentially every complaint voiced by Ansteorrans was
addressed.

They are much thicker and heavier the prototypes we examined. In fact
weight wise they are slightly heavier than a square cut routed channel APD
made from 160 PSI siloflex.

The Nock is now a much deeper "snap" type design.

The crossbar across the rear of the APD has been removed.

The APD itself sits in the upper outer quadrant in relation to the shaft.
In other words, at 45 degree to the string rather than 90.

For those who have more money than time I think it's a winner.

These APDs MUST be glued on. A little bit of gel superglue is what is
recommended. No tape is necessary.

When you inspect them, in addition to trying to pull them off to see if they
slip, try to twist them on the shaft. If they twist then the glue bond has
broken and the arrow or bolt should be failed.

They are only approved for use on 0.25" diameter solid fiberglass shafts.
