Hey Eadric

I know that your like me getting ready for the war but I have two questions for ya.

1. Would some 2 inch wide by 1.5 inches tall; Red Pheon stickers be of use for the Inspection Point ??? I was able to purchase the remaining stock of these stickers from my employer as we now have to use a slightly smaller size for one of our customers. So I ended up with somewhere like 250 of these stickers available for the non-contact archers if you want them to stick on their helms for easier identification on the field of combat.

2. A few months ago you listed several places on this mailing list for us to avoid purchasing fiberglass shafts from - due to the poor quality of the fiberglass rods that we were getting from them. Have you or anyone else ever tried to post cure these poorer quality shafts to see if this helps improve their viability for use?

- To post cure fiberglass all you do is place the bare untaped fiberglass rods in a regular oven the middle rack for 4 hours at 350 degrees. The fiberglass rods once post-cured can be held without gloves within 5 minutes after coming out of the oven and they are easily identified if this process should became a requirement for all fiberglass shafts and bolts. (The additional curing time makes the basic colored fiberglass rods change color - from the oyster white that they are to a really cool looking beige-brown color.)

We have just started having to post curing all of our fiberglass rods that are used at my job. This very simple process of post curing the fiberglass rods has greatly improved the overall shear strength, splintering factor, and just makes the rod a better product for our customers needs; so it may be of use for the Combat archery as well.

I will check with my boss tomorrow to see if I can get copies of the testing
that we have performed on some 5/16" rods to show you just how this helps the rods hold up to some serious abuse that we have to put them through before we use them in our products. I will also bring you some post cured fiberglass rods if you want so you can make your own conclusions.

I will be on site for the War on Monday.
