He does. He's not 40 feet away from me or Robert of Yorkshire when we're out there shooting.
Oh, you mean submit scores in the adult division, my bad.
Me too!! When he turns 18. Till then he has the rest of the Children and Youth Divisions to go through. The Grasshopper must grow and get strong.
And hey, that's only with a bow. He hasn't even sent in a crossbow score yet. (I can just see folks scrambling for the rules right now...crossbow, what???)
The point here folks is practice and lots of determination plus a VERY supportive Mother.. When young Robert first shot on my range it was at the Youth Academy. That was 24 April and he had an RR of 29. Today he had a 98! And I think we have several other young lads that are getting better every day.
I think the adults had better be doing some practicing or they might just get embarrassed a bit.

The more arrows you loose, the more that can hit GOLD.

Just when you think the little guy has done his best, he improves on it.
Today on the Middleford archery range young Robert of Emerald Keep shot a
254 with a RR of 98!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Drum roll and trumpet flurishes...that gives him a GOLD Tassel.
Well, now, how about that???
