[Ansteorra-archery] Re: [Middleford] Middleford needs a new archery marshal?

Good Morning,

I will keep try to keep this brief.

First I will apologize for the tardiness of this missive. I took
Thanksgiving off from all computer related activies. I then spent a
little more than 40 hours at work over the weekend. This got me a fair
  amount behind on everything.

In the case of Gilli being removed from office, I know the details
quite well since I removed him from the roster during my tenure as
Southern Regional Archery Marshal. This was caused by a missive I
received from Gilli which I interpreted as a request to step down as
Middleford Archery Marshal if he could continue to be a marshal at
large and do authorizations. I agreed that he could and removed him
  from the roster.

When I found out that Gilli did not have the same opinion on this, I
approached him about it and revoiced my preferance for someone else be
allowed to hold the office. Middleford is one of the strongest archery
communities in the Kingdom and I have a strong desire for many archers
to be allowed to shine. This is done both via their skill in shooting as
well as their service to the Shire and Kingdom by holding such offices.

Some may ask why the Kingdom Archery Marshal got involved. Since the
Regional and Kingdom office was in transition, I felt it best for me
to deal with this personally instead of further confusing the issue
by having Arcus Moreg try to deal with it.

I hold no ill-will towards Gilli nor Middleford. Out of no mallice I
did do anything intentionally to Gilli nor Middleford. Gilli and I
have butted heads in the past and will do so again in the future. We
are both strong willed individuals. That doesn't mean that we don't
get over it and work towards what we each see is the best for the
  Kingdom and archery community.

If there are still further issues in the area of archery that need to
be cleared up, I would be very willing to setup a meeting with all
involved to try to address this in person. Unfortunately my work
schedule didn't allow me to do such for the Archers Revel because of
work keeping me busy. I would have much preferred to be in Middleford
  than at work.

I would now like to wish everyone a joyful holiday season!
