was just gifted 12 new combat arrows from Northkeep.

Thank you!  This discussion has been most enlightening.  Perhaps this is
something to be worked on for the future!  Either way the House of Arkham is
planning to have a contingent at Autumn melees.  Regardless I plan to be
there or anywhere else I can get in some Rapier CA.

The first time I ever saw CA was in a rapier melee at Bordermarch
Melees back at the old site at Claiborne West Park in Orange.
That was I think Fall 1985.

Rapier CA is generally welcomed in the Rapier Melees at
Bordermarch it is just that nobody ever shows up with the gear to
particpate and all the CA takes place in the armored melees.
However, in general the marshallate is usually prepared in case
someone shows up and wants to do Rapier CA.  So your next chance
may be November 20 unless some other event does it before then.

You are correct, very few other kingdoms do Rapier CA.  I think
there are 6 kingdoms total that allow Rapier CA.  Probably beyond
Ansteorra the kingdom the most experience with it is Atlantia.
