[Ansteorra-archery] IKAC SCORES UPDATE

The distances changed a while back because of the APDs.  The Underhand round is now 40 yards. Inside the box or on the line is 4 points, hitting the target is 6 with the face or chest cut ot 12 points.   Archers choice is 30, 20 or 10 yards, with the points being 4, 3 or 2 and doubled for the face or chest.  Both Pavise rounds are now shot at the 10 yard target, with the points being 2 for a hit, 3 for the chest and 5 for the face.

Anything else I can help with?

  WE HAVE THE RANGE SET UP, BUT NO ONE BROUGHT FULL ARMOR, THEY THOUGHT THAT ALL THEY NEEDED WAS A HELMET AND GLOVES , SINCE THEY SAW PEOPLE SHOOTING IN THE ROYAL HUNTSMAN TOURNEY DRESSED THAT WAY TO SHOOT AT THE TARGETS . 

  SO I EXPLAINED THAT THEY NEEDED EVERYTHING THEY WOULD WEAR ON THE FIELD EXCEPT KIDNEY AND GROIN PROTECTION . 
  MY IKCAC PRACTICE IS NOW ON THUR. AT 5:00PM .SO IF ANYONE SHOWS UP.( THIS THUR. IS THE DAY BEFORE NORTHKEEPS EVENT ) HOPEFULLY WE CAN START SENDING IN SCORES .

  FROM WHAT I'VE SEEN , THE CROSS BOWS HAVE A BIG ADVANTAGE OVER THE BABY COMBAT BOWS UNLESS YOUR ON A TREELESS FIELD . WE HAD TO SHOOT SO HIGH TO GET THE ARROW 50 YARDS , THAT IT WAS HITTING THE TOPS OF TREES ON THE WAY DOWN AND DEFLECTING FROM THE TARGET .

  ALSO , HAS ANYONE BEEN ABLE TO DISCOVER WHICH SET OF DISTANCES WE ARE SUPPOSED TO USE ??
  I JUST USED THE DISTANCES PRINTED ON THE SCORE SHEETS.
  IN THE POSTED RULES , 
  THE WRITTEN NUMBERS ( FIFTY YARDS ) DON'T MATCH THE # NUMBERS ( 40YARDS )
  AND AT TIMES THEY BOTH DIFFER FROM THE DISTANCE ON THE SCORE SHEET.

  AND YES I SENT IN A QUESTION TO THE IKAC / IKCAC SCORE KEEPER , I JUST HAVEN'T GOTTEN A REPLY YET . ( I THINK HE'S KIND OF BUSY )
