It may be overused but somehow the term Yeoman to HL xxx seems to convey the appropriate information and, as someone mentioned, many already connect the term yeoman with archery.  Perhaps some modification of the word?

Well, sorta.  BAsically essentially every kingdom uses Yeoman as one
of their RRound ranks.  A good number of Kingdoms also use Yeoman 
nas in "Kings Yeoman", "Queens Yeoman",   "XXXXX  Baronial Yeoman" 
to indicate the current archery champion.   I think the term is
already way over used.

Ranger just sounds too D&D or LoTR to me.
