[Ansteorra-archery] Childrens Archery

I was hoping parents would be there to assist. Do you think I should make that a requirement? The Event will be at a Girl Scout camp by Altus and there is plenty of room, and I have the range set up equipment under control. The major things I will be asking for help with will be loaner bows and arrows, and of course Marshals.
Any suggestions you can give me will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim

If you're planning ten lanes, you need ten marshals. I ran the archery for last years Youth Academy. And it was an eye opener. I'd had kid or tow on my range before, but not 10+. Especially the young ones need one on one attention.
I would also suggest that if possible a class be given to the parents so they can help with the coaching of their children. Just a thought.
Will you be needing range set up equipment?
Where is this to be? If not specifically, then generally.

Shoot more arrows. You're bound to hit something.

It will be late march if approved. It should go public after the 1st of December, then I will be able to tell you all I know. The bows and your help will definitely be needed. Thanks for the offer. Arrows will also be needed, We have a couple of dozen , but I am planning ten lanes, so I will need a bunch of arrows.
Thanks for the offer.

GREAT!! When, where and how can I help? Depending on the answer to those questions I have a number of children's bows that can be used.

This would be a kingdom level class, hopefully bunches of children. The site has already been selected and will be large enough to support a large group. We are in the initial phase of planning the event for late march and with the increase in archery interest within the past few years, especially with children, I am trying to put together beginners archery classes with a practice shoot in the morning followed by an afternoon of competition for beginners and more advanced youth archers in the afternoon.
