Ok, so that would be equivalent to us in the SCA saying

"Upon the judgment of the archer in charge allowance may be made for 
various disabilities. For example, visually impaired archers may have 
someone tell them where their arrows strike the target. Archers in 
wheelchairs may shoot while seated. Archers unable to cock their 
crossbows may have someone cock it for them, etc."

Which is exactly what the IKAC rules say and the process that I have 
alway seen applied across SCA target archery.  If you are not physically 
able to stand then you are welcome to shoot your crossbows while seated 
in any tournaments where crossbows are allowed..
