Bah Lord jaque, my friend......
Its not the score that counts... its the fear in my eyes when i shoot against you that counts. Has been there ever since the beginning. You know as well as i do that you can run circles around me when you want to. I have also heard tale HL Ironwyrm has become quite good with crossbow, REALLY looking forward to seeing that and hopefully shooting against it.
Besides i got my excuse card ready, i shot a true royal round for the first time in 2 years two weeks ago. Wasn't pretty - my scores are down as well, but interestingly enough my scores at 40 are way up.... Unfortuneately all my shooting in the past 2 years away has been heads up and unknown range shooting - never at face targets. The bow i finally choose to shoot at warlord is not completed yet and i will only get 2 days to tune it if im lucky. But in the end the only thing that counts is fellow archers and the fun of warlord.
Excuse #1 - i wasn't ready cuz the marshal called loose when i was still loading!!!!!

Then I will get my excuses in place early. I have only picked up and fired a bow (last weekend at Steppes practice) once since Gulf War- and my scores show it.

Aye pug, i have been away to long to return and see your not able to shoot. I to was looking forward to picking on Jaque and matching bolts with you. I rather enjoyed shooting with you those years ago. If it is a matter of a bow etc i have extras and would be honored to loan you one.
Ulrich <---- starting the trash talk with jaque that i've missed so much. :)

Might I ask why you might not be able to enter any of the tourneys milord? Only the Bowmans and period shoot have any restrictions that I am aware of. The William Tell and Steppes Archer competitions are open to all as far as I know and I was rather looking forward to shooting against you and others.

Susan Hill (sueorintx at hotmail.com) said something that sounded like:
> The Barony of the Steppes welcomes all archers to compete in the five (5)
> archery tournaments we will be offering over the long weekend.
So you are aware, this is not the schedule being sent out by the autocrat.
Btw, I won't be brin! ging my archery equipment since I am not able to
enter any of the tournaments.
I'll stop by the line to say high to folks at some time though and
depending on how much time I have between other business will help out
as needed.
