Thank you, that offer even applies to you my friend, even tho your a bow shooter :P

Now my friend, you are questioning my honor..... you have done so in open forum, something i deem as serious.

You speak of honor as if i am not honorable becuase i choose to use period ways, like the sight marks on the limb of a bow is any less honorable. When i shoot sightless i shoot with no referance other then the tip of my bolt. YET a bow shoots with sight marks - i do not see your call to them about being unhonorable.

YOU yourself where there the day i willingly told the score keeper to drop my 105 royal average due to questions of period or not.

YOU yourself asked me to remove my screw on my stock as it might be construde as a kisser button. Yet i am unhonorable?

YOU asked me not to notch my tips to use as blade sights EVEN THO it was period to spin the bodkin in a way to use the top as a blade front sight.

YOU told me there would be questions on using more then 100# in a prod, and i said i would not.

I am unhonorable?

You even laughed when you heard i bench build my bolts to within 3 grains of eachother. Any bolt i carry is balanced and grain matched - im a shooter, thats what shooters do.

You question my ability to shoot without sights. Would you care to challenge that on the field? or infront of a crowd? I would be happy to prove my ability with a sightless crossbow if your questioning it in a friendly test of skill. I see you calling me out and questioning my honor M'lord, and if you wish, i can certainly rise to that private challenge. But that challenge has nothing to do with this titled shoot.

What say you?

Ulrich

I have thought about it over this past 36 hours i have seemed to get put into the whole crossbow and shooting light. I have to tell you a select few have really put a bee in my bonnett. I even dare say to the point where i REALLY look forward to the day i shoot against them.

But we are all adults here and we are all supposed to support our fellow ARCHERS.

So i offer my services, my work shop, my blueprints, my knowledge, my time and all my contacts for the supplies to build a crossbow, a longbow, a recurve, a stonebow, a bulletbow or a repeating crossbow. If you want to go run of the mill to high end A&S show piece - we can do that. If you need doc's to support anything on any of the listed weapons, i offer that as well.

I will even help you get started and help you from start to finish. Knowledge is free. The only thing i ask in return is if we use my shop to help off set dulling blades and maybe a cold soda every now and then - at that, i will perform backflips and beg on command.

So to anyone in the area - or outside the area - i offer this, full shop and the knowledge of how to do it with a guiding hand ---- take it, leave it, love it or hate it. The light will be on for ya. At the very minimum this gives an out to those that believe that they can't have what others do and compete. Now the playing field is even and the ball resides in your court.
