[Ansteorra-archery] cant we all just get along?

On an up note, Bjornsborg (San Antonio area) now has an archery marshal
(me), and as of last week we are having weekly practices. We are using a
large field that is perfect for our needs, it even has bathrooms and water
available.

Indeed, such negative goings on are pretty depressing,
  Equally depressing, is the fact that this once lively and informative list
is now, for the most part, silent as a tomb. Sad indeed is the knowledge
that there are now more branches in this kingdom without viable archery
programs than there are ones with. Not having an Academy of the Bow this
year, due to an apathetic lack of interest/enthusiasm, is, at best, somewhat
disappointing. Realizing that the majority of Ansteorra's archers either
don't know, or simply don't care about the annual Inter Kingdom Archery
Competition, and that only scattered handfuls of archers are shooting scores
to represent their kingdom, is particularly shameful.
  Blame it on the war in Iraq, blame it on the high price of gas, whatever
the reason may be, archery in this kingdom is only a hollow shell of what it
used to be. Yes, it's just a game, but we seem to have forgotten how to play
it. Live the dream you say? Best of luck with that.
