1. Must be stout of heart: Any who know the lovely woman i am married to
would have to agree that i am stout of heart! Or thick of head.
 
2. Sharp of Skill: Even though my shooting has not been up to par lately i
have a plan (see answer for #6)
 
3. Fleet of Foot: I always hold to the old saying....that if a bear is
chasing you all you have to be able to do is out run your friend! and i dont
have any qualms about tripping them!
 
4. Well Dressed: Everyone knows how pretty i am.
 
5. Fat of Purse: I can always bribe people with leatherwork!
 
6. Dare you face the best archers in the Kingdom? Sure..... i am not above
snipping bow strings, warping arrows, distracting them when at the
line....and if comes down to it....beat them with a stick while they sleep!

ahhhh, thats it .... be afraid , be very afraid ( hehe ) for we of the
frozen north are sending our " sam-c " ( new and improved model of sam i
)warrior / mage ( +3 bow , +2 crossbow , +2 axes , and +3 knives ) to
frighten away all those of lesser prowess !!! 
for any who would be royal huntsman must be stout of heart , sharp of
skill,and fleet of foot .( not to mention well dressed &  fat of purse ; )
so come prepared !!! dare you face the best archers in the kingdom ?? or
will you weinie out , and hang your head in shame ??

I cannot help it if the weaker blood of my cousin's descendants has
allowed these Lapps, these Sami, to live in the south of Norway.  In my
time they were only to be found in the wastes of Halogaland, far to the
north or east of there in Finnmark.

King Harold Fairhair has married Snaefrid, the daughter of one King
Svase, a Lapp.  By her magic she bewitched him and made him forget his
kingdom and from her came four sons.  She died and her corpse lay
uncorrupted for three years.  But Harold has come to his senses and
returned to his kingship.

It has been prophesied that his son (by another queen), Eirik Bloodaxe,
will marry Gunnhildr, daughter of Ozur Toti, who he will "rescue" from
the Lapps to whom she had been sent by her father for the purpose of
being trained in witchcraft. She will use the Lapp's magic against many
for her husband to ensure his kingship.

So you see, I perforce am wary of Lapps.
