[Ansteorra-archery] Archery at Defenders of the Rose IV: April 11

Come archers one and all to shoot for the honor of being named Defender of
the Rose.  This title has been held by a select few, and the chance is yours
to hold it for the next 2 years.

On Saturday, April 11th, you will have the opportunity to compete in up to 3
scored rounds. Two winners will be selected: one based on the accumulated
score and one by judgment of the assembled Roses.  Scored rounds will
include a clout (with a unique twist), a challenging 20 yard target round
with exploding targets (don't worry, its arrow safe), and a mysterious final
round to be announced the day of the tournament.  Roses’ choice may be based
on the archer who competes with the most style, who is most entertaining,
who looks good, and who best exemplifies the qualities of a champion. Both
hand and crossbows are permitted, and sponsorship is not required.



Sign in begins at 11:00am and the tournament begins at 12:00pm, but come
early and experience the full grandeur of the Defenders of the Rose event.
 Camping is available both Friday and Saturday night (merriment provided).
