Arden, I am just ready to run out the door, but will be glad to help you out. I'll try to get back to you this weekend at the latest.

Subject: [Ansteorra-archery] New archery group?

Greetings,
I am considering getting back into archery (something that I have enjoyed for years, but no longer have equipment), and recently was able to use loaner gear and shoot at the Grand Assembly of Archers, and Emerald Keep.
Where I live is considered Rosenfeld, and there is no official archery there.
I have found three locations to practice, but they are 30, 40, and 60 minutes away. (two archery stores and some type of park in Mineola)
I have glanced at the Marshall’s handbook, but can not find any specifics for setting up a target range and safety.
Ideally I would love to find a closer location to set up, and even benefit more SCA people, or even in conjunction with a heavy fighter practice at a city park.
Is there such a handbook?
