I have heard people say that a good target is a high density
polyethylene. What is "high density"?
I have found sheets that are:
2" thick by 4' x 9' that is 1.7# density for $65
1" thick by 4.5' x 9' that is 4# density for $100
1 1/2' thick 4.5' x 9' that is 4# density for $150
2" thick 4' x '9 that is 6# density for $216
Since we do not shoot compound bows we have slower fps on our arrows but
they weigh more so they are harder to stop. What density and what
thickness is needed to stop arrows that we shoot?
all of these are local pickup for me in Oklahoma City so no shipping.
Does anyone have a better supply source for this type of foam?
YIS,
Vincenti
