greetings

your excellency donnchadh , while i applaude your efforts to improve both
the archery communities image, and the community itself .
i see it more as a " what the king wants " thing , so, if the king wants the
rh to travel beyond my means, i have to bow out , and even going into the
bow out undefeated , i have bowed out for that reason on more than one
occasion .
so barring winning the lottery, or having the oil terrorists start paying me
most of their money instead of the other way around ( gas prices ) i will
never be royal huntsman.
i have also been to royal huntsman tourneys where most of the top shooters
are all saying " i'm going to bow out " because they can't afford to
fullfill the requirements .
although i do like the idea , staying with his magesty all day , not just in
court. as you have seen at the northern events i've been able to make , i'm
usualy the only one standing behind the king for all the courts, so it might
be a bit hard for me to run thrown weapons or archery at those events as
well if i was staying by the list field .
of course if i was able to be a combat archer ( health reasons prevent it )
, then the king could just tell me to shoot " that one " and point, and the
lists could be shortend greatly ; )

Be Safe , Be Happy, Have Fun
