Actually, Canton has a tendency to stay east of Dallas, no matter what day of the year is being discussed.

The best thing to do is bookmark this site http://calendar.ansteorra.org/ 
 
That gets you to all of the events in the kingdom. Most events have information posted on when, where, what's happening at the event, directions, costs, if there is a tavern, if there is feast, and contact information for the autocrats so that you can contact them directly for information that may not have been covered. 
 
Steppes Warlord will be held at Canton, TX which is east of Dallas on Memorial Day weekend.
