This year if it is possible, I would like to run a Combat Archery Shoot.
I would be willing to work on making some targets and running it. There
will not be much in the way of loaner gear unless we can get people to
share what they have. Otherwise we would have to run this as a bring
your own equipment shoot, but I would rather convince people to bring
gear and share. It would be done from a static line as a target type of
event. Let me know what you think and I will write up a shoot for it.

     Greetings unto the Archery Community of the Northern Region of
     Ansteorra!


     The 2010 Grand Assembly of Archers is set for August 27-29 at Camp
     Dakani in Oklahoma City, OK. It will once again be an archery ONLY
     event. It will be a joint event hosted by the baronies of Namron and
     Weisenfeuer. Our autocrats are Lord Linus from Namron and Colette of
     Weisenfeuer. Lord Cian of Northkeep has agreed to be our MIC.

     Last year's inaugural Grand Assembly of Archers was such a big hit
     that we are doing it again this year! But we can't do it without
     YOU, the MARSHALS! If you are interested in running a shoot, range,
     or just offering relief to the other marshals please let me know!
     Please forward this email to any marshal you think might be
     interested, as I know I didn't get everyone.

     The Northern Region has some exceptional archers. Help us give them
     another day to shine!
