Go read the post at the bottom it said every one will shoot all ends. No end will disqualify anyone. Their Exceillency's will be given the scores/rankings  to pick their champions from. Some of the ends will be ranked top to bottom.

That would be a yes then, ok. So refusing to shoot the combat archery round will disqualify anyone entering the comp as well? if so, I get to tell 11 archers/traditional bow hunters that they cannot compete this year. inclding me, maybe they'll be interested next time.  They  already told me they are not shooting 'thumpers' (what they call the combat arrows).
Another good reason  for the separting those types of archey events. Combat archery should be either judged on the chilvaric field or in its own setting/event, or both due to it being based on moving targets and battlefield ops. ok, I'm off the soapbox..lol

I'm a bit confused..anyone whom wishes to enter the tourney for champion must have combat archery equip to compete?
If so thats going to eliminate all but a few inclding myself; and I just got a new bow and arrows, I've been getting tuned to shoot this year.

The archery tournament at Defender of the Fort will have 6 to 8 ends one or two will be with Combat Archery bow and arrows armor not needed. Every one will shoot all the ends you may also shoot even if you do not wish to be champion.
