while i am sure that the royal huntsman tourney will once again draw forth ansteorras finest archers, i will be unable to attend the event due to issues mundane and medical : (

  Greetings to the Archers of Ansteorra,

  Their Majesties will be holding Their Royal Huntsman Tourney this weekend at Eldern Hills and I wanted to pass on some information.

  The competition will be a head to head, double elimination style tournament, that will highlight both speed and accuracy.  There will be no combat archery in the competition, although I hear there will be melees during the day that do include combat archery.

  Their Majesties wish for Their Royal Huntsman to join them at Gulf Wars, and would invite them to join Their Majesties on Their progress throughout Their reign as much as that person is able.  There will be an opportunity for those who wish to compete, but do not wish to be considered for the Royal Huntsman, to bow out of the tourney.

  I look forward to seeing you all there.
